Celebrate Easter with this impossible to resist Crème Egg layered cheesecake, made with an Oreo biscuit base.

The ingredient of Crème Egg layered cheesecake

  1. 2 x 137g pkts Oreo Original biscuits
  2. 100g butter, melted
  3. 200g darkish chocolate, chopped
  4. 1/four cup (60ml) boiling water
  5. three teaspoons gelatine powder
  6. 3 x 250g pkts cream cheese, softened
  7. half cup (110g) caster sugar
  8. 300ml thickened cream
  9. eight Cadbury Cru00e8me Eggs
  10. Yellow and pink liquid food colouring
  11. 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  12. Cadbury Cru00e8me Eggs, extra, to enhance
  13. Cadbury Cru00e8me Eggs Minis, to beautify

The instruction how to make Crème Egg layered cheesecake

  1. Grease and line the bottom and side of a 23cm round (base dimension) spring-shape pan with baking paper.
  2. Place the biscuits in a food processor and process till finely overwhelmed. Add the butter and procedure until nicely combined. Transfer aggregate to prepared pan. Use a straight-sided glass to spread and press mixture firmly over the bottom. Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes to chill.

  7. Meanwhile, cut creme eggs in half and spoon filling into a medium bowl, reserving the chocolate shells for any other use. Add 1/2 the ultimate cream cheese mixture to the egg filling. Use more than one drops of yellow and pink food colouring to tint the combination orange. Stir to combine. Pour over the chocolate mixture and smooth the floor. Return to the freezer for a similarly 15 minutes.
  8. Add the vanilla bean paste to the ultimate cream cheese aggregate and stir to combine. Pour over the orange layer and smooth the floor. Place inside the fridge for three hours or till set.
  9. Transfer the cheesecake to a serving plate. Decorate with greater Cadbury Cru00e8me Eggs and Cadbury Cru00e8me Egg Minis to serve.
